My Philosophy

When you come to my office, you're not just a client, you're a person trusting me with your story. I believe you already carry the wisdom you need for change inside you. My role is to partner with you as we explore your hidden strengths and bring them into the light.

At the core of all relationship struggles is the simple need to feel truly seen and heard. My hope is that our sessions become a bridge where communication shifts and real connection can grow, allowing you to feel understood. I focus on creating the conditions for true understanding so we can do meaningful work together.

My Journey

My path to becoming a relational therapist started with a deep curiosity about human change. While I started in academic research, I was always drawn to working more directly with people and their unique stories.

As a mental health case manager, I witnessed the incredible resilience people carry in their hardest moments. This experience shaped how I show up with clients today: grounded, present, and compassionate. A powerful moment for me was with a teen, where I saw how a single conversation, engaged with care, could open up a new perspective. That's the feeling I carry with me now, that counseling can be a space where burdens are shared and new possibilities take shape.
